What We’re Looking For

As a Junior to Mid-Level Platform/DevOps Engineer at OMNY, you’ll be a key player in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our healthcare data platform. This role is a hybrid of development and DevOps, focusing on the stability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You’ll work on our .NET codebase, contribute to DevOps pipelines, and ensure our platform meets high standards for reliability and security. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves to solve problems, enjoys a blend of coding and infrastructure work, and wants to grow their career in a fast-paced, impactful environment.


Key Responsibilities:

·      Participate in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.

·      Support incident response and forensic analysis activities.

·      Develop and maintain core services and applications within our .NET codebase.

·      Contribute to and improve our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient software delivery.

·      Support and enhance our cloud infrastructure, primarily within GCP, using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

·      Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and implement best practices.

·      Assist in monitoring and maintaining our platform’s health, ensuring high availability and reliability.

·      Participate in the management and automation of our containerized environments using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

·      Write scripts and automation to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.

·      Facilitate the remediation of security vulnerabilities and help implement solutions to prevent future issues.

·      Stay informed about new technologies and recommend improvements to our platform and processes.


Preferred Qualifications:

·      Experience working with large-scale, distributed systems.

·      Familiarity with database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

·      Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.

·      Foundational knowledge of security best practices and vulnerability remediation.

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

·      1-3 years of experience in a software development or DevOps role.

·      Proficiency with C# and the .NET framework or proven willingness to learn quickly.

·      Experience with cloud services (GCP preferred) and concepts.

·      Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) and containerization (Docker).

·      Experience with scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

·      A solid understanding of networking fundamentals and system architecture.

·      Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·      Experience with Kubernetes or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

·      Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Role Location  

Must be local in the greater Atlanta, GA area but the role is a primarily remote role.
